Eid Mubarak
Eid-ul-Adha is popularly known as Eid of Sacrifice. This festival is about renunciation and self-purification. So on this day, Muslims sacrifice or slaughter camels, cows, dumbas (fat tail sheep) or goats according to their religious instructions. The celebration of Eid-ul-Adha begins with the sacrifice of animals in the hope of God's pleasure after the Eid prayers.

Therefore, traders are selling thousands of animals from the farm through the online platform as well as the market. Buyers can buy their favorite animals at home. The online platform has been launched in each upazila through the joint initiative of e-CAB and the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock. An online payment link is provided to the buyer after verifying the buyer and seller to pay the price of the animal purchased from these markets. In addition to online purchase of animals from Smart Haat, the price is also being paid through POS machines, Bangla QR and MFS. Most of the farmers are opting for bKash, Nagad, upay and M-cash. Under the initiative of Bangladesh Bank guided by the management of Dhaka North City Corporation and Chattogram City Corporation, 11 smart animal haats have been launched in two cities.
